Large Mahogany Scotch Chest Of Drawers – Circa 1880

A good storage piece economically made and previously split halfway through the second bottom drawer to enable access up a small staircase. The back had completely fallen out with pieces missing. To restore this piece the chest was completly re-built with extra strengthening in the area where the chest was cut. We made up all the drawer runners, guides, rails etc. Shrinkage damage was repaired prior to the piece being thoroughly cleaned and repolished.
